Sunset on the Roman Empire
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
| Volubilis was a municipia (free town) in Mauretania under Emperor Claudius in 45 AD. After Rome withdrew in the 3rd century, the city declined. Pictured is the ruins of the Basilica. Levels adjusted to reduce flare and increase silhouette effect; sepia filter applied to even out golden sunset coloring and cropped. The bird on top of the ruin is a stork.. |

Hi Michael,
I was here in August and this shot brings back good memories for me, although I was there in the early morning so its nice to see it at sunset. Panoramic format suits the shot and the silhouette of the ruins especially with the stork is great.
Regards
Wanda
