Even though I don't really drink Coca Cola that often myself, I thought that these crates made for an eye catching image. Taken in the town of Tinihir close to the Todra gorge whilst waiting for a bus.

The product that has given the world its best-known taste was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 8, 1886. Dr. John Stith Pemberton, a local pharmacist, produced the syrup for Coca-Cola®, and carried a jug of the new product down the street to Jacobs' Pharmacy, where it was sampled, pronounced "excellent" and placed on sale for five cents a glass as a soda fountain drink. Carbonated water was teamed with the new syrup to produce a drink that was at once "Delicious and Refreshing," a theme that continues to echo today.
In 1886, the first year Coca-Cola was sold, sales averaged a modest 9 drinks per day.

Hi darling... :-P)

Hey! Now I feel your pride to be an integral canonist, flashing your colours in the most ostensible way... I think this is the photo with the most red pixels on TE and outside of China... By the way, I don't know for sure if it's true, but I often heard that Quebec is the only place on Earth where Pepsi is the leader, in front of Coke... I'm addicted myself... :-((

That's a cool photo, bold and graphic shot that we can see in travel guidebooks, because it offers a sample of local flavour true an international icon. And to see this brand written in arabic script is also an interesting aspect of the image.

You're the real thing...

André

Hello Wanda, do I think that it has been a good idea showing these boxes of ' كوكا كولا ' .... the graphic effect is good, the colors and the definition perfect. Congratulations.

A greeting from Spain and on happy Sunday.

Bien vu..

Hi Wanda,

Interesting to see this namebrand in a different language. I think you have an interesting image showing the differences in culture throughout the world. The composition is minimalist and yet it show us that often we overlook little elements in our travels abroad. Thanks Wanda :-)

Roberto

Hallo Wanda,
Ik ben een ECHTE Coke drinker en Pepsi komt er dan ook niet in..!!!
Daarom mooi om dat rood te zien, zowel van de Coke als ons Canon rood ;-)
Fijne zondag,
Henk

Hi Wanda,
I learned my first Arabic letters with the logo... in Morocco, when i was a kid...! You got the most out of a simple scene, with good framing, colors and sharpness...
Since, then I don't drink it anymore, and my knowledge of the alphabet has undergone little improvement, if any!
Greetings
Laurent

always coca cola...this is the most global symbol on earth.
you can find it everywhere...from Afganistan (as MarcT posted) to the moon (almost!)

nice colourful shot...and it is so funny to read coke's name in arabic alphabet.

ciao
Silvio

PS. as far as Morocco and coke are concerned, I dedicated a shot to this juxtapositionbetween local food and global brands!

Hi Wanda,
A photo is spectacular with a superb closed composition. Is together on all of them to an effective photo. The topic splendid, the colours vigourous, the picture cutting exciting.
Have a nice Sunday
George

Hello Wanda,

A very good note informs this compelling photograph. The simple but elegant composition is "just right" to present the subject. The colors and resolution are excellent. From the thumbnail, I had no idea what the global view would look like, and indeed Coca Cola is that global.

Warm regards,

Bulent
