[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Dead Vlei, a clay pan located near Sossusvlei, inside the Namib-Naukluft Park, is surrounded by the highest sand dunes in the world, some reaching up to 300 meters. Before Tsauchab River was reaching this place during the rainy seasons but later sand dunes encroached on the pan and blocked the river from the area so the trees living here died. The remaining skeletons of the trees which are about 500 years old give really amazing impression.

Nice effect of layering the colors horizontally. The dead tree adds to the desolation of the place.

Hi, fine composition, using this tree in the FG to draw the viewer into the desert behind. Might have been good to see more of the texture of the ground, which looks intersting, perhaps a lower POV? cheers, Steve

hello maciej,
very ımpressıve image.
colours look wonderful on earth but sky is a bit weird.
tfs,
regards

Hi Macieij,
The shape and dark color of the dead tree give the picture a very dramatic tone. Very intensive colors.
Regards.
Francesco.

Hello Maciej,
A classical from this place, well realized with the contrasting dead tree structure and the nice elongated shade, not too many colors are also an asset on this image.
Have a nice day JY

Hi Maciej
I know this place. It is really an amazing landscape of the true desert. Your shot is perfect, including the dead tree. But why use ISO400 with such a light ?
Cheers
JP

Hello Maciej
A dramatic photo with the 3 contrasting blocks of solid colour - and the dead tree provides a focus and tells a story. TFS, Marlene

LObvelt minimalistisch composition. You choose the right POV to make good use of the different colors of the landschape cretaing a well balanced layer composition and a good bg for the interesting treeshape
Best regards
KIKs
