Photographer’s Note

Some days are very hard when you don't find solutions and sometimes it's good to take a time for yourself, go near the river and listen to your favourite music...
I like Marisa Monte, a brazilian singer and I love her song "Preciso me encontrar" (I need to find me):

questa e' una vista fantastica, mi piace molto il braccio del fiume con la tipica barca a riposo , molto bella l'atmosfera creata e molto caldi i colori .

è un paesaggio incantato... La luce è splendida ed il contrasto dei colori contribuisce ad un'atmosfera quasi magica. Bellissimo!

C'est vraiment super beau ca Alberto. Le ciel un peu pastel, les magnifiques verts et la couleur de la riviere ou la vegetation se reflete. tres calme, tres poetique, tres reposant. J'aime beaucoup.

Bonjour Alberto,
Tu as réussi à donner beaucoup de mouvement dans un paysage très plat, c'est ce que je trouve le plus merveilleux dans cette photo. Mouvement par la courbe que décrit la ligne de nuages à gauche, mais aussi par les courbes du fleuve. Tu as vraiment bien réussi ta composition. J'aime aussi la barque qui montre la présence humaine dans cet univers plutôt aquatique.

Hello Alberto,
I think that the photo is a perfect match for the song. Wonderful exposure with fine details and a perfect light management. I think that using 50 for ISO helped the result, indeed. The depth of the field is perfect!

Caro Alberto!
che foto bellissima! il fiume tortuoso porta lo sguardo lentano, ma lentamente, andando a vedere le radure, gli animali lontani, il personaggioche cammina.
Che dolcezza in questa immagine!
Anche la barca in primo piano dà un senso di quiete.
Ma ci andremo anche noi? Oh!

la luce sul fiume e le nuvole in questa atmosfera cosi intoccata danno un sensazione di sogno. Ottima inquadratura con magnifici colori naturali e bellissimi contrasti.

Hi Alberto,
First, Niger is not a well known country (I guess it is the first time I comment a Niger photo here). Second, the title in Portuguese language got my attention.
I like also Marisa and I think in this song there is a very important verse: Rir pra não chorar.
The photo is very nice, especially the green vegetation and the water.

Très beau paysage de pays lointains et un peu mystérieux pour moi.
Cette pirogue abandonnée!
Une ambiance étonnante se dégage de cette image: fraîcheur? chaleur? douceur? âpreté? je ne sais pas! mais toi tu le sais car j'ai essayé de traduire la chanson.

pittoresca composizione per questa foto molto ben tagliata e dalla luce stupenda. Mi piacciono moltissimo anche i colori ben saturi, specialmente il verde della vegetazione rigogliosa, dovuta probabilmente alla stagione delle piogge.

ciao ALberto, corro subito ad ascoltare questa canzone, piace molto anche a me la musica brasiliana..
l' immagine è molto bella e anche il posto...
SPero davvero tu abbia trovato soluzione ai problemi, qualche volta sembrano più grandi di quello che sono...a volte basta davvero staccare un pò la spina..
Certo che anche per te è un periodo di grossi cambiamenti, inevitabile essere sotto pressione..
Dai stai su, ad ogni problema c'è una soluzione

Le texte est très beau, Alberto, ainsi que les tons de la photo - cet endroit doit être parfait pour se trouver soi-même, j'aime aussi les paroles de ce chant... Et ça aide à rêver ! Le Niger m'attire beaucoup, merci d'avoir posté cette belle photo !
