The little girl's body language on the right side is priceless, like she was looking out if someone is coming to catch & punish them for writing on the walls.
I wish there was sligly less space on the left part as it feels a bit empty and unbalanced compared to its stronger counterpart, on the right side.

your photo reminds my own childhood. i used to play teaching writing on the wall with leaves. it was an enormous step ahead when mom gave me colorful chalks!

Your series of Sahara and sub-Saharan education is priceless. This one particularly is poignant. Vibrant color, strong play of light and shadow, the little girl on the right adds a master touch.
