Photographer’s Note
Old picture from no where in the middle of the Borno state near the Tchad border. This shows that piercing is not a new fashion for western countries but was used by African tribes for probably hundred of years. If am not sure if the scrafication also very much develop in this area of the world will be become the new fashion in the coming years in ours countries
I will not bet even a single euro on this....

A nice portrait. You just needed to do some easy fixes on it. I did them for you in a workshop. A photo under these conditions can benefit from a filter to darken the sky and background. But you did a good job capturing the subjects. I hope scarification doesn't catch on where I live. Best, Hugh

Hello Patrick,
This is a great daily life scene. As the others have recognised the colours look a little washed out the workshops help. As for the capture of these people it is superb, nice photo. They are truely beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Cheers,
Debbie

It's a very nice portrait, indeed. A simple, balanced and efective compo.
One can notice the the age of the film, but it looks like the details are still there. I wonder if the purple dominance is due to the age of the film or the scan, but both that and some paleness is corrected in bombilla's WS.
Your note is informative and amusing. I just hope that scarification fashion doesn't came to the West. :-)
