Niger's Delta Photo

Photographer’s Note

Going back home last year, I was flying over Niger's Delta right in Nigeria. Is just an amazing place, and for sure, one where I wouldn’t want to be stuck.
There are some houses as well in this photo but are not so obvious because our chopper was at high altitude right then.
It is as well unbelievable where some humans are leaving but that's the spectacle of this live and human kind.
About the frame .I don’t know.

Interesante locuri vizitezi tu....(trebe sa citesti printre randuri o oarece invidie,prieteneasca bineinteles :) )....
Banui ca viata in acele locuri trebuie sa fie destul de ...grea pt noi care nu suntem obisnuiti...insa comuniunea natura om a presupun ca e foarte puternica
Superba imaginea asta ...mi-ar fi placut sa fie mai mult contrast dar ....oricum imi place

Nice view of the river. I like the POV of your image showing interesting geometric patterns in the land below. The colors are a little dull though, but maybe due to the fog that is visible. But I do like the simplicity of the image.

impresionanta imagine ... si cand te gandesti cat suntem de mici :)! si totusi ... cred ca ceea ce stim si ceea ce am vazut nu ne poate fi luat de nimeni niciodata - si pentru ca tu vezi asa ceva - esti mai bogat

Thats as wonderful as landscape gets...perhaps made better by the angle and the height. The green and muddy brown form an interesting colour combo. Well composed Vasile

Hi Vasile,

Interesting POV and comosition. I like the graphical effect created by the river(s) and the variable density of vegetetion. Nice colours as well. Interesting note, I wouldn't have seen the houses without it, makes me realize how big this river is.
