Photographer’s Note
Preparing to land this time in Port Harcourt , Agip Base . Deep in that jungle peoples are leaving as you can see, but just in a huge city . My first impression when i got to that place was "I arrived in hell" . Than i got used to it.
On the other hand, as I found out later on, cities like Lagos or Abuja are much nicer.

Unfortunately, being Nigeria the richest oil country in African, the people still live in an appalling state of poverty. This photo shows a flagrant similarity with the one from Angola. It is a pity that their leaders do not see the same awful view each time they land on their own country.

Nice documentary shot. Pretty bad news coming from this area recently so it is interesting to see it on TE.
