Photographer’s Note

I posted an image of her a few weeks back ("Smile"). We were visiting a village in the Cyangugu area and noticed her immediately ... I believe I took 45 photos of her... She has just a perfect face... She is part of the BaTwa tribe and therefore marginalized in her country.

Hi Joop, Nice simple shot of a gorgeous subject. Good non-centered compostion and DOF to blur the background and keep the viewers attention on the subject. B&W worked well for you in this shot. cheers, Steve

Hello Joop! I agree, she's indeed very beautiful! I even had to go back to your gallery and check her other photo. Very good composition, I like the B&W choice. Bokeh is well controlled, and her pose - looks like she's a pro model, esp. with that look. I made a workshop, if you don't mind. I just want to see how the photo would look like in a darker and sharper version. rgds.

HI Joop, she is stunning inded. Fantastic portrait, perfect option for B&W. Great composition, I love her pose, a pose but still so natural, and her smile is so delicate. She smies with her eyes as well. Great catch Joop, lovely picture.
