Photographer’s Note

I love Africa. It's diversity, the people and the stunning nature. I was lucky to see the Gorillas where Dian Fossey made her studies and battled with the poachers, in Parc National des Volcans in Rwanda. Gorillas in the mist..... I didn't trek for that long before I saw the first little family with two youngsters and then just a bit further a big silverback and some females. Breath taking and a bit unreal.

Beautiful portrait. Looks as though the gorilla is daydreaming. It must be an awesome experience. I did a little workshop -- maybe you'll find it useful. Best, -Hugh (Oh, unfortunately you don't permit workshops, so I couldn't post it.)
