Que de chair! ;-) tu as eu raison d'immortaliser cette scene qui relie son enfant à sa mère, mme si dans certains pays aujourd'hui le seul contact humain semble se résumer à à peine plus d'une poignée de main ou d'un coup amical dans le dos... c'est ce contact direct qui manque le plus à nos sociétés contemporaines, contacts sans arrières pensées et sans les psy qui t'expliquent que ce contact avec le sein de la mère est traumatisant pour l'enfant. Et oui je l'ai lu ds des articles de psys!!...

A very good glimpse of the Senegal daily life!
I like the rotation made to fit into the framing all the elements of this scene.
Perhaps a little strong the lighs on their skins, but it's very good the blue tones got around it.
I think you made a very strong composition.

Salut Francine, amazing capture of this special moment bettween the child and her mom. She looks distracted though and I wonder if she is being hurt. It remembers me a bit the gallery of Gaby. Great colorful shot of this true daily life.

Salut Francine, un tilt ose qui fait du sens, chouette scene de vie... 2 petits comments, les contrastes me semblent un peu fort et j'aurais bien vu la nettete sur le sein ou la tete du bebe...

wow! I love how the baby is holding the vessel, as though it were a cup.

Such a tender photograph. The softness of their skins is symbolic of the tenderness here. I read a (very stupid) online discussion the other day, discussing whether dark skin is attractive...hmmm...?

Très belle scène Francine, et surtout très belle prise de vue,on passe ainsi du coin bas gauche de la photo pour aller au coin haut droit, par un petit coude bien potelé,puis par l'objet même de ta photo, la tétée, avec bouche et mamelon réunis sur cette même ligne, on passe ensuite sur l'épaule, puis le profil de la maman et enfin le sommet de la tête. On se promène ainsi sur cette ligne naturelle, c'est du très beau travail. bonne journée

Hello Francine

I must add to this brave and beautiful shot. Although I cannot read all the comments, I note that there is a tension in the picture. The nurturing mother seems distracted and is even biting her lip with her thoughts, she is far away, which is at odds with her present circumstance.
It all adds to the narrative of a great shot, another favourite.
