Photographer's Note
When we came by our minibus to the village below the Bedik's village the children gathered around with curiosty. Some of them were so interested that they went up with us to the top. And the way was not easy (one and a half hour going steep. The plant on the right side is cotton. In Uzbekistan cotton was already harvested, but in Senegal, a few weeks later still not.

Hi Malgo
how could we NOT like this! excellent WS photos as well. What were you climbing up to see? another Village? I wonder, do the children or adults expect money or anything like that? Perhaps they're used to having tourists come by for visits and want cash??? anyways, cute and innocent looking children just enjoying the moment. Did you show them the photo on the back of your camera? :) cheers

Hi Malgorzata
They are at ease with the camera but still excited about posing and nice mix of expressions and balanced off centre. The contrast to lighter bg tone lifts this shot and focus are fine too. Indeed a joyful shot, Congrats

Hello,
Another fine portrait scene. I guess the main attraction and richness of that country are the people.
Have a fine day.

Hello Malgo,
I like these three photos very much as well. Maybe I slightly prefer the WS from the same place because of the vertical shape and the wider view of the scenery. On the other hand the children are closer in this photo. Maybe you regard your photos from Senegal as all "nothing special" because they don't show any great monuments or palaces, but I find these documents of the people, especially the children, VERY special. When I look back on my travels it's the people of Africa, especially the west, that stay closer to my heart than most other experiences. (And Afghanistan too.)
Technically these photos are also remarkably good.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Malgo,
What a charming little trio, delighted to be photographed. Very nice colours and good sharpness. Pity the fourth one remained hiding in the background.

Hello Malgo,
A great photo of these three children and the curious look in their eyes. They are standing very nicely in a row, the bravest and oldest one in front. You placed them very well in the composition with the cotton field.

Thank you for your interesting notes, Malgo.
I love the different expressions on the children's faces ranging from happiness, through suspicion to curiosity! I must admit, to see children playing out in the countryside gives me immense pleasure. There is so much fear for the safety of children in many western European countries that the children are often not experiencing such fundamental activities.
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Hello Malgo, three delightful pictures, the children are charming.
I love the different expressions on their faces; sometimes confident, sometimes nervous, and as you say, sometimes curious.
Regards Jean.

Ciao Malgo
i bambini hanno sempre espressioni diverse sui volti, per questo quando sono in gruppo mi piace osservare i loro sguardi.
Tre belle foto accompagnate da una nota interessante.
Buona domenica

Hi Malgo,
Ochre toned hay makes quite a painting like atmosphere to this view. These kids are perfectly placed and seeing them in a queue, with the shyest one in the back looks so charming.

looks like the human landscape is the best of this region you visited, marvelous row of the children, their expressions are marvelous and the quality of light ion the image is special. we had many cotton here in my town in the 1980's, it was a hard time, a desperate attempt of the small farmers to stay in the land, at this moment cotton is gone from here.
take care

Hi Malgo,
An excellent photo, in fact the kind of picture I imagine Gert would have been proud of if he had had the opportunity to see these children. The children here a well positioned in the composition and all colours are pleasant. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too.
Kind regards
Gunnar
