Joli cadrage sur ce petit bonhomme... J'aime bien l'arrière plan un peu flou mais que l'on distingue bien, le garçon et son ombre dans le coin et le bateau plus loin.

Chère Sabine,
Il me semble que ça fait trop longtemps que je suis passée faire un tour dans ta galerie! Je profite de mon heure de dîner pour te laisser un mot pour ta dernière photo.
Comme toujours pour tes photos, une admirable sensibilité de ta part, un respect profond pour tes sujets. Les couleurs sont très belles (ah! merveilleuse couleur de la peau de cet enfant!). Tu as bien cadré, avec cet enfant sur la droite, face à l'infini de la mer et les pêcheurs et leur bateau à l'arrière-plan, assez flou pour les distinguer du sujet, mais pas trop. La seule chose qui me dérange un peu, c'est l'horizon qui penche sur la droite.
Tant qu'il rêvera, il y aura de l'espoir...

wij rijden eens tot aan zee, of wippen eens over de grens in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, en jij vliegt efkens naar Afrika... 't is je gegund, hoor... Zeer mooie kleurencontrasten hier ! Maar, euh, de horizon is wat schuingelopen (of misschien heb je dit met opzet gedaan ?). Klein detailke, ben blijkbaar de eerste die erover valt... niet zo erg, hoor.

Great shot! The positioning of the boy and the boat in the frame are just right, and of course, the pose is very interesting and even artistic. I like the tight framing and the absense of any distractions. Great work!

Content de te voir de retour du Sénégal. On s'y est presque croisé. Cette image est sympa. L'enfant semble attendre le retour de son pêcheur de père. J'espère que tu n'as pas eu trop de problèmes à sortir ton appareil. C'est parfois chaud !

Bonsoir, Sabine. Une image très bien composée avec cet enfant accroupi dans le coin de la photo et qui est relié à la barque des pêcheurs par une diagonale imaginaire. J'aime beaucoup son regard qui scrute l'horieon et exprime l'attente. Le contraste entre la couleur de l'eau et celle de la plage est très réussi.

Clean, classical composition, Sabine.
Thoughtful one. The one that says a lot more about the author of the picture than the scene it's portraying.
Having that total control over the situation just a milliseconds before releasing the shutter is what I value so much. It indicates that you are a conscious photographer. A photographer that knows 'how to'.
Important virtue. Rare virtue.

Très belle composition. A quoi pense ce petit? Certainement fait-il des rêves qui le conduisent vers des pays plus riches (le symbole de la pirogue parait clair...) ..où il ne sera peutêtre pas plus heureux qu'ici, malheureusement...Une belle photo, très expressive. Bravo, Sabine

Das lang geleden hoor dat we iets van je mogen hebben aanschouwen. Dit ziet er in ieder geval heel mooi uit. Het licht is knetterhard, maar toch zien we voldoende detail en mooie kleurschakeringen. Erg mooi hoe je die jongen rechts in beeld hebt geplaatst met een mooie dof.

Hi Sabine,

Great shot. I like the composition with this boy sitting there in the corner. The sharpness and exposure on him are very good.
The DOF works fine, good the background isn't completely sharp here.
What I like less is the slanting horizon, it's really tilted a few degrees, I'll try to correct it in my WS.

Very nice Sabine. And very delicate, as usual. Love to see that golden sand contrasting with the kid's beautiful skin tone. His posture is so lovely and you really placed him in the right spot. He is looking far to the horizon and we can also look beyond him to the boat and green sea. Your choice of focus is then very good and the aperture choice strengths the compo. I am ignoring the tilted horizon since it doesn't shock me too much here. Great take!

A very African image to begion this series, nicely composed, I like the way he sits so gracefully watching the sea. By the looks of the shadows the light was harsh and you have handled it well.
