Moon Light Strike Photo

Photographer’s Note

Full moon evening with a coming thunderstorm is a good combination for such shot. Wish I was in a better location, but glad I was not far from my room as the storm arrived fast.
What you see here is the Orange River, separating the Karoo (opposite side) to the Southern Kalahari (where I stand. The city is Prieska, not touristic at all, but have a mampoer shop (home made spirits) right behind the church (of course). If you go there, get a bottle of that tasty stuff!

Electric shot.I find this kind of shot very impressive,and this one has a very good light and an excellent sharpness,I think your location was right to show the rays from the storm banging the hill.The composition with the river and the tree at left is good too.TFS.

Magnifique point de vue de ces éclairs qui déchirent le ciel. Je me suis permis un petit WS car je trouvais que ça manquait un peu de contraste. En tout cas, superbe.
