The end of the market

| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
This picture is taken in the parking lot near the Three Rondovals of the Blyde River Canyon. To the right we see the last vendors in a long, long line of people selling curios to tourists. I honestly felt sorry for these people who were so far from where most tourists even walked to. The view from where they were was beautiful, but I doubt they made much money. I wondered how they got the worst place to sell from. This experience in wondering about other people's lives sort of typifies my whole experience in Africa. I saw so many ways of life, that simply left me wondering as to what their daily experience was like.
I've cropped this picture a bit, enhanced the color and sharpened the image. |

Hello Kate,
I like that red tree and that beautiful mountain landscape.
Good colors and excellent composition.
Well done!

Hello Kate.
A nice shot with a good perspective. I'd prefere it with a bit more contrast..
:-)
Kind regards.
Bobo.
Hi kate
A tipical end of village in Africa.
The idea is very good because we never think to do it !
I would have given more contrast to put in value the montain ... don't you think so?
