Photographer’s Note
Taken in a dust storm this photo has I supposed 'absence' as it's theme.
Really I so often go searching for content that this time i decided just to shoot what Khartoum is really like; a strange empty and dusty patchwork of half completed buildings and rubble.
This was taken in the 'Riyad' district - one of the wealthier more up market pats of town. Just in case anybody wanted to know what the place looks like!

It made me so sad to see this picture. There is a real feeling of emptiness and desolation, no people. How is life teaching there?
