Photographer’s Note

Dont know if you have ever feel kind of lost, mainly about how you are living your life. I was more or less like this before climbing the Kilimanjaro, and the experience makes me find the Miguel I like to be, it doesnt mean a quick change, but little by little you are try to do the things on the way you like... I was up there on august 7th, 2007. My friends tell me that I give it too much importance, but I know what I mean... In fact, I try to think about that experience all I can. Thanks.

Hi Miguel--I climbed Kilimanjaro in 1988. It was an unforgettable experience for me (though maybe not the life-changing one you describe for yourself.) I remember looking down on the clouds at sunrise, much like the ones you show here, the same kind of view one gets from an airplane. I was fortunate--the temperature didn't go below about -5 C.

You made a nice contrast between the hard textures of the ice and the softness of the clouds. It's tough to take pictures up there because (for me anyway) the lack of oxygen saps the will--it's hard to get oneself to even take out the camera, let alone think about what's a good shot. Regards, Ken.

Tanzania? Sorprendente... ah Amigo!!! Que es el Kilimanjaro, ahora ya me lo explico. TE es lo que tiene, que hasta que no profundizas un poco en la foto en cuestión, las miniaturas pueden ser una caja de sorpresa.
