Photographer’s Note

These elephant bones lay where he was consumed by the many predators and scavengers down in the Ngrongoro Crater. The floor of the crater is ten miles wide down a rim that stands two thousand feet high. It sustains a plethora of wildlife many of which probably fed off this elephant carcass.
