Photographer’s Note
After I while I will upload a image from Tanzania again.
I saw this picture when I went threw my gallery since a long time ago.
This cheetah mum is the same one you can see in this picture.
We saw it first having its lunch. But anytime it started to look for its cub.
Hope you like this shot
Best regards Toba

Tobias,
Wonderful lonely capture of this leopard!
I would crop a little tighter to the subject and add some Shadow and highlight.
See my workshop.
TFS!

Hi Tobias,
I am trying to run to work but I saw your shot in the gallery and had to say I really like it. I like the darker version here because it is overcast and perhaps going to storm, so it should be a little darker. It's a beautiful image with great color and sharpness. I've also made it one of my favorites so I can look back on it from time to time.
Thanks for sharing!

Tobias, is your birthday april 11th, or november 4th?
I like the ws that was made, but I prefer your original. both convey different emotions. Here, I sense loneliness and the call of duty but in the other, all I see is a cheetah hunting, searching for something moving...Your version is much more subtle. I think a version with levels midway through both versions would work well.
I don't think the compo is optimal though...the cheetah is not centered, it's not on the 1/3 either...it's just too random. It'd like to see where the cheetah looks, so, for me the ideal location for the cheetah would be on the right third to make sure there is some negative space where she is looking at...I also think that there is a bit too much sky here...
see you,
Marc

Toba,
Good to have you back, and it's nice to be taken back to Tanzania. A wonderful trip. Beautiful capture as alwasy as the cheetah looking beyond for her cub or for prey. Compositionally, it would be best to have the cheetah more to the right. Perhaps you can crop the right and make it a vertical format. Good one. Thanks toba.

Hi, Tobias. You were lucky to find the cheetah in such a good position, on that small mound, which allows us to see it very well since it stands out against the vegetation. Your point of view also shows us the enormous space in front of the animal. The sky is grey and adds a lot of contrast with the vegetation in the foreground.
Have a nice evening,
Philippe

Hi Tobias,
This cheetah seems to seek its dinner… Beautiful development of the animal on this pretty landscape of savanna. Contrasts of colors are interesting. Well done Tobias and thank you for this pretty travel souvenir.
With all my friendships of Brittany and a very good evening,

Hello Toba,
Excellent picture for a 55-250mm lens I looked to the WS and indeed the clarity makes this image a lot better.
I find you picture with these Leopard splendid. They form a really beautiful composition, with a great technical execution.
Nice work, my friend.
Best regards
John.

Hi Tobias,
Those cheetahs are not really easy to get in front of your camera. Nice catch!

You sure go places, lucky you... A classical savanna sight, sharing the view of the elegant cat. It must have been a thrill taking this shot.
Warm regards,
