Photographer’s Note

Ce soir là,
j'avais ouvert la fenêtre.
J'avais poussé les branches inutiles.
Celles qui coupaient le ciel et qui brisaient les rêves.

Je regardais les dhows qui glissaient sur la ligne d'horizon.
Je partais avec eux,
au plus profond de la nuit.

This evening there,
I had opened the window.
I had pushed the useless branches.
Those which cut the sky and which broke the dreams.

I looked at the dhows which slipped on the line of horizon.
I left with them,
in deepest of the night.

une fenêtre toute naturelle avec des couleurs reposantes comme l'est cette ambiance de soirée accompagnée d'une note romantique, un endroit d'amoureux pour regarder l'horizon.

ces couleurs chaudes et cette fenêtre végétale. Le bateau dans le fond c'est la cerise sur le gâteau. Très carte-postalesque (?!) mais très beau néanmoins.

Très beau moment de plénitude :
Il y a des instants qu'on voudrait voir durer la vie entière. Cela tient à une secrète plénitude, à un mystérieux apaisement en nous de l'inquiétude, cette autre forme du désir.
Une très belle image à placer dans ton carquois (flèches de beauté) !

Les silhouettes de la végétation et du bateau font penser à un pochoir superbement réalisé.
Une composition pleine de charme aux tons très doux .J'aime beaucoup

Une vue très poétique comme ta note ! Un centrage "multiaxe" de la scène qui s'imposait ici. Tu n'es pas tombé dans le piège de la compo académique et tu as bien fait car l'image aurait été moins réussie. Un couleur superbe !

The light is amazing with its splendid tones on cloudy sky. Skillful usage of silhouette of branches and vegetations at foreground. I liked also splendid reflection on sea surface with enviable spectrum. The silhouette of authentic sail is just cherry on cake. Congratulations.

The color of glowing sea seen from the natural window is very quiet and nice not to dare to increase saturation, and the white fringe around the sail works very effectively. Tasteful picture.

Bonjour, Bertrand. Un splendide cadre naturel dans lequel le dhow est très bien placé. Les silhouettes des branches et de l'embarcation se détachent bien sur cette mer et ce ciel rougeoyants.

Des couleurs qui nous bercent dans une totale quiétude. Même si ce bateau me semble un peu centré, cela ne suffit pas à égratigner la séduction de cette scène.

Belle utilisation de cette trouée parmi les branches pour servir de cadre à la composition. Le contrastes entre les branches floues et ce bateau net crée une belle impression de profondeur. J'aime beaucoup également les teintes chaudes de l'image.

a real postcard shot about fabulous Tanzania. The sunset, the boat and the ocean all framed on a natural window, what could more expressive of this country, only the people that habits it, but here it was difficult to add it so... it's as good as it could be.

une utilisation parfaite des branches comme un cadre végétal dans ce beau contre-jour avec des tons pourpre, en créant une image élégante avec ses silhouettes obscures et avec la barque.
