Nungwi, sur la cote nord ouest de Zanzibar, est un village très actif dans la construction artisanale des dhows ou boutres, encore très largement utilisés par les pêcheurs sur les eaux de l'océan indien, au large des côtes de l'Afrique de l'est
 Les enfants, eux, jouent sur la plage ou batifolent dans la mer, se servant de bouteilles d'eau minérale ou de bidons comme flotteurs pour apprendre à nager   

Nungwi, on the north west coast of Zanzibar, is a very active village for the artisanal construction of dhows, these wooden boats widely used by fishermen on the waters of Indian ocean, off the shores of east Africa 
Chidren play on the beach or in the sea, using empty bottles of mineral water or tanks, as floats to learn swimming

J'adore le léger côté high-key qu'elles ont toutes. Une extrême luminosité,je suppose. Cela me rappelle ta fameuse série sur les salines qui était de la même veine.

Great balance in this shot, I like how the colours of the dress of the girls in the background resembles the sand. I feel this would have worked even without the girl in the blue dress,

Hello Patrick,
a beautiful and elegant composition with the little girls and the dhows across the frame standing out superbly in the luminous, softly coloured and flat anbience. Sharpness and clarity are superb allowing the textures come out in a lovely way. Lighting is masterful. I love the colours and contrasts, the figures of the girls as they are occupied in different activities. The little girl in the blue dress looks like an elegant dancer, her subtle shadow is an exquisite addition. Congratulations and thank you!

On oublie les boutres pour poser son regard sur la miss, qui pose comme une star en toute innocence, d'autant plus que la couleur de sa robe éclate sur le gris-blanc de l'image.

This one has a much better colour balance than the last one from the same area. The high key tones work well here to enliven the graphism of the shadows. Good repetition of the bg fishing boats. Impeccable sharpness The fg girl & beachcombers animate the scene. Merci et bon semaine!

I have enjoyed scrutinising this delightful shot. It is pleasing in so many ways! The limited colours add to the charm and ensure the strong impact of the well positioned young lady who looks to be auditioning for a dance company.

Les bateaux à l'arrière plan, le sable presque blanc et les petites-filles à l'avant plan sont tout à fait attrayants!

Hi Patrick,

Your photo from the beach of Tanzania makes me wish that I had come here when I was in Tanzania a few years ago, well hopefully I have the chance to come back one day.

Once again, this is yet another really good quality shot with good exposure, great details and lovely composition. The posture of the girl in blue is a bit odd, I was wonder if without here, it might been a more soothing composition. Then again it might be boring. Regardless, a good quality photo.
