Je remarque malgré tout la présence (sauf erreur) d'un climatiseur de type split sur la façade latérale gauche ! Cela prouve que le modernisme s'installe au fil du temps.

Ce jeu de lumière qui fait ressortir ces magnifique teintes...un délice.
Un jolic adrage vertical dans cette belle petite ruelle aux murs défraichis et aux volets d'un autre temps.
Tip-top l'attitude de ce mec...un peu perdu là au milieu, entrain de penser ou de regarder dieu sait quoi.

J'ai l'impression de contempler un tableau! Tout d'abord le cadrage vertical est parfait ici et met beaucoup plus en valeur cette ruelle que le cadrage horizontal que tu avais présenté précédemment. Ensuite il y a ces couleurs et ce jeu d'ombres et de lumières sur la façade. Et enfin la posture de cet homme solitaire qui semble attendre je ne sais quoi...

Man! No wonder you got such an amazing response to this image, Bertrand, it's fantastic!

The quality of the light and the colour are truly spectacular, very painterly. Not to mention the way that the light illuminates just one part of the scene, leaving the rest shaded. Just beautiful.

Secondly there is the figure. I swear you must have hired that guy to stand in just the right place, and in just the right stance, to make this photo perfect. His relaxed pose emphasizes the peaceful, dream-like feeling of this image.

Finally, the way you've cropped it, very tall and narrow, really gives the viewer the feeling of being in that tall, narrow lane. Excellent choice.

Your notes are beautiful and could stand alone as quite a good poem, but are even better when read together with this image.

I think this is the most beautiful image I've seen from Tanzania, and it is completely fresh and new (not a beach in sight). A definite favourite!

J'imagine que de celle-ci à laquelle tu faisais allusion ce soir. On retrouve l'étroitesse et les hauts murs de la ruelle, les couleurs, les volets et une gestion de la lumière avec l'ombre. La tienne a un avantage : la personne debout qui donne un véritable plus.

Une très belle photo pour une ambiance extraordinaire... réussir à retranscrire l'ambiance d'une vieille ville ancienne fouettée par les embrums de l'ocean... Les jeux de lumières naissant dans cet entrelas de ruelles que les hommes ont construites le plus serré possible afin d'échapper à la morsure du vent et la brulure du soleil.

Une fois de plus c'est le hasard qui m'a conduit vers cette photo que je trouve extraordinaire, et je ne suis nullement guidé par le nombre de points... j'adore l'Afrique, j'adore ces couleurs, et j'aime quand l'humain entre dans la compo alors même qu'il pourrait être absent. J'ai une préférence pour les photos horizontales, mais là, effectivement le vertical lui va très bien pour accentuer l'étroitesse de la ruelle, et aller jusqu'au bout des volets. Et alors, la lumière ! c'est quelque chose ...et pour finir, quand à la poésie de la photo, tu ajoutes la tienne, alors là je dis bravo.

Un peu entre fiction et realite, la silhouette encore allongee par le chapeau de ce passant qui reflechit, dans une ruelle avec une lumiere interessante, avec des elements modernes comme la machine d'air conditionne sur la gauche et le tout dans la superbe et legendaire ile de Zanzibar...

Pour moi cette photo est la meilleure des deux; ces grandes lignes verticales font encore mieux ressortir les jeux de lumière et de couleurs.

A croire que l'homme prenait la pause pour toi, le rendu des couleurs est magnifique a telle point que le climatiseur se font dans la masse par similitude avec les volets.De plus cela me laisse réveur car c'est une destination que j'ai dans mes cartons pour l'avenir

Et je dois dire que je préfère, et de loin, la version en paysage, laissant plus de place à l'homme. Cela reste une image d'une grande pureté.
