Zanzibar sunset Photo

Photographer’s Note

I took this shot looking towards prison island, the island on teh horizon from the Western side (obviously!) of Zanzibar. There are perhaps too many elements (the island, boats, birds and the shallow reef close to the shore, but I like it.

A very peaceful image, Stephen. You captured the sun just before it dipped before the horizon, not an easy feat!

What an amazing sunset you´ve captured here.
The sun looks like a huge ball of fire.
The colours are great and the light too.
The dark silhouettes of the boats really contrast here.
