Photographer’s Note
It treks the Earth 'till death!
The most common bug that you shall meet in Tunisian Sahara. It is a desert beetle, and its tracks can be seen everywhere, interwining with such of lizzards and snakes. Sometimes the beetle's tracks just vanish unfinished...but not because it have been eaten by any of the forementioned creatures, but because it digs holes in the sand and hides there from the scorching heat of the Sun. Nevertheless, lots of this self-digged holes remain their home forever...it is just too hot.
Maybe the photo is for TrekNature, but I don't have an account there, and I am too lazy to make one now... Converted B&W from RAW, increased contrast and sharpness.
