Photographer’s Note
One day Allah's Messenger noticed a Bedouin leaving his camel without tying it.
He asked the Bedouin, "Why don't you tie down your camel?"
The Bedouin answered, "I placed my trust in Allah."
At that, the Prophet, sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, said "Tie your camel and place your trust in Allah"
*Placing trust in Allah means doing everything that is necessary for success!*
I think it's cruel to tie up an animal like this (sometimes both legs so they can't move at all) but it's bedouin's way to keep a camel in the same place...

Pozdrav Snezzana,
Odlično uhvatiti s vrlo dobrim dubine i detalja.
Pozdravi,

Ola Snezana ,

Hi Snezana,
Almost humourous, growing up in Pakistan a predominantly Muslim country, plenty of sayings about the camel and the bedouins because of the strong middle eastern influence.
I relly like the shot and the relevance of the title and the note.
Cheers

A very interesting scene! This also seems cruel to me, but then again I've never tried to keep track of a camel :) Did you ride one? An informative post and the detail is very good. TFS

Hello Snezana,
I agree with you that it is a cruel way to tie up the camel like this, but perhaps it it the only way to make the camel stay in one place, especially if there is no tree, no fence to which the bedouin can tie the camel to...
I know that horses are hobbled. But maybe this can't be practiced with camels...
In any case, it is an interesting image; good composition.
best regards,
Elena

Emilius
