Photographer’s Note
This is my second photo of a Villa, in the popular Sidi Bou Said City in Tunis, Tunisia.
What fascinated me in learning about these Villas, are the doors and door handles/knockers.
Did you know that the number of handles/knockers on the large Blue doors indicates how many people live in the Villa?
Can you see how many there are on this Villa?
Not only that, but each handle/knocker has its own unique sound, therefore each family member will know if the door is for them!
The doors themselves have beautiful artwork, moons, crests, stars, many different elaborate shapes and designs, all unique and different from one Villa to the next.
I've said it before, and i'll say it again - Tunisia is a must on your list of travel destinations!
have a wonderful day everyone
Craig

Bonjour Craig
Intéressante note, je ne savait pas qu'il y avait une signification avec les poignées, ici il y en a trois?
Beaucoup de détails et un vrai plaisir des couleurs

Hi Craig,
very nice play with the blues. Even the frame works well in here. The panorama format was well thought. It makes the image dynamic and gives us a nice reference of the place. Well done!

Hi Craig
Nicely cropped to eliminate some sky and perhaps some FG paving stones. Excellent exposure with nicely saturated colours. The red car compliments the blue doors and windows.

Hi Craig,
The traditional whitewashed homes contrast brilliantly with the vivid blue sky and green trees.
The ornate yellow doorway is beautifully complimented by the traditional blue door.

Hello Craig,
The blue circumference of your photograph is in harmony with the colors of the image. Framing spares broad and pleasant before plan on paving. You chose a typical and remarkable place. the very luminous and quite exposed photograph is pleasant to see. The realization is very good. Cheer.
Have a nice day.
Cordially
Joël
