the ksour were the fortified granary where the nomads population stored their riches.
some of them are practically invisible, camouflaged in the mountain.

Hi,Giacomo,
A really interesting shot.At first from the thumbnail, I figured it being an ancient colosseum from Roman times but upon looking at the shot closer,I see my wrong initial impression.
Interesting architecture and almost no people to be seen.
A surrealistic effect.
I like the sandy colour. What material is it?

Valerka:)

Complimenti,
Donato

Extraordinary architecture, indeed! The Pov is very good as well as the colour and the clarity. Tradition redolent of the past! Thank you very much for sharing this image with all of us.
Greetings from Greece,
Athanasios.

Ciao Giacomo,
Interesting buildings, everything is the same colour.
Very well captured.
Where are all the people???.

Ciao Giacomo,

great visual information about Medenine. I hope your nice souvenirs from travel in Africa. Grazie tante, amico,

Branko

Comunque bravo! Uno smile verde te lo meriti!

HellO Giacomo
The light conditions are not the best, there is too much sunlight and therefore the colours are a bit washed out. From a composition point of view I thing a cloesup detail of the houses would give a more intimate protrait of these builings

Daniel

Ciao Giacomo,
Bravo
Ludo

Interesting and unusual kind of architecture. Very nice picture.
Regards
Jack

That's very interesting architecture, Giacomo. How old are these buildings? There are no railings on all those stairs, despite the heavy loads carried up and down. The lighting is not ideal since the granary is shaded, but the scene you recorded is certainly worth seeing. Regards, Ken.

Hello. Answering you about to reach the best perfection photographing monuments makes part of our hobby. Deciding for no posting is because something is in cause. But our community is so big that new sucesses soon appear. At least I try to perform within an acceptable quality. Even so I hate when the resizing scale breaks the sharpness. To stroping them need some skillness. Concerning to this one, the simple houses become very comfortable. Only the stairs need some banisters. Did you ever think that in a place like this only needed to have a cammel. No petrol is needed. No money spend. Amazing houses in our world. The clay material islolates quite well. Best regards. Domingos
