It's a nice photo, with pretty good composition, B&W tones and overall atmosphere. The only thing I'd change would be either cropping the right side of the image to get the head of the guy on the right exactly in the composition lines cross point or getting a bit closer to him. Anyway, it's a good shot and thanks for sharing.

Great choice in making this photo b&w. Also the depth-of-field is well chosen. The only suggestion I might have is that the white border seems to be too big for this shot. Also, maybe it would be better if you had little more room at the top of the photo. Great shot nonetheless.

Très bien pensée cette composition,un cadrage serré et une excellente PDC.J'aime beaucoup la table en premier qui renforce l'ambiance de cette photo.Tu as très bien capté les expressions de ces hommes dans leur "errance".Le choix du n&b est idéal pour ce style de cliché.J'aime beaucoup

Alors? Tu as essayé avec le programme fourni par Canon pour traiter les images RAW.

Hello Bertrand,

La profondeur de champ est peut-être juste un peu trop importante ici.
L'arrière plan avec ce qui semble être un bac à glace publicitaire est trop présent je trouve. Mais je vois que tu étais déjà à F/4 donc pas beaucoup de marge pour créer un beau bokeh.
Sinon, l'idée de la compo est très bonne. La personne du premier plan attire bien le regard.

Bonjour Bertrand,
Un assommoir en quelque sorte, qui étouffe. J'aime bien cette image crue de cet univers, traditionnel certes, mais un peu oppressant. le noir et blanc sied bien à l'ambiance. Bravo pour cette vérité bonne à connaître. Bon cadrage, bonne mise en image.

mangigique image NB, ces homme fumant la chicha, j'aime blien ces 2 plans, l'homme en blan en premier plan, avec la prondeur sur le deuxième homme, un cadrage subtile et mangigique.

An excellent B/W composition that fits the mood of the shot describing a traditional practice in those cultures. There's an ambiguity with the verse you have quoted probably not based on a sound basis as the regime in Tunisia does not allow many "liberties" of the kind. I was there a few yrs ago and believe me some of the obvious rights in the West do not exist there. My opinion, of course ... or what I thought I experienced

This is an excellent document on the lifestyle of the men of Douz.
There are lot of details in the image which are new to me.
the sharpness of the image is superb.
The mood of the place is very much gripping.The vast ceiling , the hanging old fan , the clock on the wall ,the porcelain plate adds lot to the frame.
