Photographer’s Note

I took this photo early morning on my last day in Kabale- after a 3 month stay volunteering in an orphanage. Kabale is in the highlands of Uganda about 8 hours BUMPY drive from the captial, Kampala. Kabale is a truly breath taking place. Not at all like the dry plains that you think of when one thinks of Africa.

.....nostalgic photograph. It reminds me all these small paths along the villages and hillsides with kids everywhere greeting you 'aghandhi muzungu!' It reminds me always foggy mornings.....and rainy afternoons as well :-) Most important--people, very friendly, extremely friendly, open and warmhearted....
