....just a beauty from the village. What you see on the background is the result of that nobody has painted or repaired here anything more than 30 years, since Falconbridge, the Canadian company decided to sell all its shares to the State in February 1975. Despite the people here are sitting on a gold mine there are no job, no money in Kilembe....

a well sharped with vivid colors photo. nice portrait. as for the background color time has done an excellent job for your photo but i guess not for the people in the village.

excellent portrait.
Background blur and colour gorgeous!
I like sharpness and crop.
The portrait leaves to be transparent the pride of the person but also a sadness veil.

A while ago, I noticed this picture but wasn't able to find it again. I am happy to lay hands on it again tonight and be able to let a little comment. I love love love the blue background. The composition is good, the girl and the colors and the texture of her skin all beautiful. Her look is princely, even if she has nothis she looks dignified.

I think the WS makes her look like too sophisticated. It's not her anymore. I prefer your original.

Hello Toomas,
A beautiful portrait with a well chosen background that matches the girl's dress. Although the wall is faded bcause of years of neglect and pocerty, blurred like this it is quite attractive.
