Photographer’s Note

I captured this image while traveling in a very remote region of Western Uganda. These children have been orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic sweeping across this part of the world. I am happy to report that they are now sponsored, and are enrolled in school.

Hi Glen,

besides the composition that is well done the young boys shows a distress and misery in their eyes that's hard to believe. I think they've been threatened more by life at their young age then ever will be someone from the richer countries in their whole life.
This is the main reason I think we should stay humble and always try to help whenever possible.
