Photographer’s Note
Another in my series captured while traveling in a very remote region of Western Uganda. These children have been orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic sweeping across this part of the world. I am happy to report that they are now sponsored, and are enrolled in school.

hi Glen,
first, welcome on TE.
Hope is all they need. HIV still makes disasters in Africa and a lot of children have lost all their parents or are also infected.
And there is not a lot of money to take care of them.
You know more than me but I think Ouganda is one of the most affected countries of Africa.
