Photographer’s Note
Livingston island is a very small island named after Dr. Livingston, the first white man to see the Victoria Falls. It is in the middle of Zambezi river and right on the edge of the water fall. Accessible by boat only when the water flow is slow. You can walk all the way to the edge of the waterfall and look 100 meters straight down to the rocks below. You see the main fall on the right and the rest on the left as you face the fall. We went in the morning with the sun behind you can see rainbows everywhere you look. The whole island was covered by fine mist from the waterfall. The grounds were muddy and very slippery, not recomended for the faint hearted. Your only safety is by holding the hand of the guide!

I have been there too and I have some pictures over the falls on both side of the commemorative plate near the edge. It is a nice photo with your long shadow and the high grass.
