Photographer’s Note

Ecology Glacier is the nearest glacier to Arctowski Station - Polish Antarctic Station on King George Island. We spent all year here, last days 3 argentinian people visit us and we had a walk. We climbed (two days ago) to the top of the ice cliff to see this big blue view.

I really like this simple compo which has is uneven yet still holds a kind of symetry.The gentle shades of blue are beautiful.A truly amazing sight I would think which would make a lovely print.

Amazing colors Piotr, and you've captured the glistening light so well! I'm wondering if the black border is perhaps a little to heavy for this image - just my personal preference. A beatiful part of the world you have shared here, that most of us won't get to see.

Hey Piotr

This icy landscape truly makes the viewer understand how desolate places like Antarctica are. The blue beautiful signifies the purity of the enviroment which is perhaps the greatest at risk more then anywhere else on earth.

Photos like this show hoe beautiful the world can be. Thanks for sharing.
