Summer, Antarctica...

Ginger Lake on King George Island. South Shetlands is an volcanic archipelago, there is lot of volcanic rocks from 70 mln BP (Before Present) to 4 mln BP. In some places there are red layers of volcanic ashes. Wather, melt from glacier and snow takes this sediments and change water colour. Very small grains are in suspension in the water, most of them is to small to sediment in the lake.
