The south of Armenia is different from the northern greenery. It's a yellow-ochre desert whith few grass - an "afghan landscape", as our guide said.
"Noravank" means "new monastery", it was build in 12-14 ss.

Thanks for your photos on Armenia. It is hard to find photos from some countries and Armenia is one of them. The architecture of these churches resemble to those of Georgia and East Turkey. Well I again appreciate the photos. Thanks...
