Another portrait of a child in Bangladesh. She was in her neighbourhood holding a bird. Maybe she was going to release it for good karma...? I'm not sure.

really a loveley portrait with a nice DOF and expression. my only critic: i think more contrast and less gamma, whould make it perfect?!

Hi Melissa,
Nice choice of the aperture, she stands out from surrounding people. Catchlight only in her eyes makes her vivid.

I see you haven't stopped posting here, and I'm glad you haven't. You have posted incredible shots.
For a portrait like this, you really nice a special person and expression if you want it to be powerful. She's a strong anchor in the compo. One thing I really like in this picture is the woman holding a baby with a large smile in the background, on the right. That's powerful.
Josh haven't posted for a good while now. Please congrat him for me for his publications. I particularly like the one in Lonely Planet. I remember critiquing that masterpiece when he posted it. Do you guys sell prints? Or have you thought about it? I guess it would be hard to set up when on the road like that...
