Photographer’s Note

I met these children walking on the beach and playing around. Their poor houses were just off the sand.

Cox's Bazaar is a region in southern Bangladesh, called by local tourism authorities as "the world's longest smooth sandy beach". Also considered to be the "tourist capital of Bangladesh". It has 120 kms of sandy beaches, against a background of hills covered with forests.
Known for its local varieties of cigars and handloom products, particularly from the Rakhyne tribal families. Located some 162 kms south of Chittagong. Connected by air and road to Dhaka and Chittagong.

I took this photo with an old camera and filtered the scan with NeatImage.
