Photographer’s Note
In the village, the cooking pot is a place to gather 'round. Inside the simmering pot is some unhusked rice; not far away is a large, juicy jackfruit and very fresh curd from a mooing cow.
Visiting this small village with my boyfriend, our presence was met with curiosity and hospitality.

Hello Melissa,
I like this communal shot, showing daily life and the importance of the cooking pot. The colorful clothes of the people standing around add nice splashes of color to the scene.
