Lhakang meaning temple.
This particular temple is the Guru Lhakang, a fairly recent addition to the much more important Jampa Lhakang.
The Jampa Lhakang is said to have been build in 659 and is home to one of the most important representations of the buddha of the future.
It draws many pilgrims from all over the country, some seen here making their rounds in deep devotion around the Lhakang.
