Photographer’s Note
Bhutan is powered by it's hydro power plant and every home has electrical supplies, except those living here, in Gangtey Valley.
This is not due to the terrain. What touched me most, is that the people are sacrificing their comfort, for the Black-Necked Cranes that migrate here from Tibet in the North. (they are the same species found in Japan!)
The hanging wires may potentially tangle the cranes and the Bhutanese decided to forgo electrical power for now, while they gauge the economical cost of laying the power cables underground.
My salutation to the Bhutanese!

Hi Weichun,
A nice picture of the valley with the mixture of different shades of colours. The descriptive note reveals a fact which should teach a lesson to the so-called environmentalists of the so-called First World countries who hold seminars after seminars and pollute the environment with the highest percentage of green house gases.
Regards
