[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
2 years ago, I posted a picture with a guy transporting 5 mattresses on his small cyclo. Two years later I saw this guy transporting big funiture on his small motocycle. It is amazing to see how people can handle this thing without using pick up truck. You should look at his hand where he carried his mobile phone. Actually he was talking on the phone earlier. I was almost missing this shot. He was approaching from the way opposite to mine. I was rushing to take my camera from my bag. At that time I thought he must have gone by the time I took out my camera. But I could manage to take this. It is just a snapshot.

Hello Sothy,

Thanks for the sharing, this shot on the instant is incredible. I can not imagine someone transporting so huge things on a so small motorcycle.

Yves.

olá, amazing management of such big furniture! the detail of the mobile phote is delicious! with all this furniture and driving with just one hand is something amazing! it seems easy! Also good note. congratulations pedro

Every time to time I happen to see shots like this, with people carrying huge weights on a bike.
This is one of the most incredibles I have ever seen

Nice shot, JC

Hello Sothy,
Please don't think "just a snapshot"! I love snapshots like this, they're really so much more interesting than most well composed landscapes. I have seen many scenes like this, especially actually in Cambodia, but I never managed to get a good picture. This is a great one.
Regards,
Gert

Anyway, well done with this snapshot.

He must have found the ideal center of gravity and equilibrium point.

Hi Sothy,
I have seen a lot, in Cambodia and Vietnam, but this is truly the winner in that categroy. It is so much, it almost looks unreal. A very funny but also interesting photo which shows how people live in that part of the world...great shot..!!!

A perfect capture of this! Nice bright colors and a unique sight!!! TFS

Unbelievable Sothy, during one trip of mine to Indonesia have seen to bring everything in motocycle, but have never seen an image as this! It's amazing that he drives with an only hand, and with the other to carry the mobile phone without losing the balance. A really rare and nice photo. Compliments!
Ciao

Hey Sothy,
I just don't believe what I see.

Hi Sothy

A superb daily life scene from Cambodia. Somewhere in my gallery, I have a shot taken at Siem Reab, showing a small motorcycle with a huge load of firewood. I like the color contrast between the red & blue here. Tfs!

Hi Sothy,
all I can say is that this photo kicks a**.
Thanks for sharing
Michal

Hi, Sothy -

This is so amazing! Grab shots are so difficult and also so rewarding when they succeed. I would not have noticed the phone if you hadn't mentioned it; that adds an extra dimension to his dexterity.

Best,
Dan

Hi Sothy,
I was never very good in physical sciences and I would never have thought that all this could go on a motorcycle.
I hope that he did not have to make 50 KM.
The quality of the photo is excellent in spite of the speed with which you made it.
Congratulations
Diane

Hello Sothy,

I love this shot! The center-of-gravity is balanced, but this load is so top heavy, that the tiniest weight on one side or another could topple over the cart. In October of 2006 I had put among my favorites a similar image shot in China, of a bicycle, but yours is even more dramatic.

Fabulous capture, Sothy,

Bulent

Hi Sothy, thanks for sharing this great one !

Hello Sothy,
Incrediable ingenuity. Excellent capture of the daily life in Cambodia. Perfect timing.
like the note too.

Hi Sothy!
Nice to see more pictures from you. This is a wonderful documentation. Not an easy shot to take, considering you had to hurry....but you managed very well....clear, and beautiful. For people in the western world, that have not been to Asia, this sight seems almost unbelievable. But I know that sights like this one are quite common! Nice work, cheers,
Steve

It's Cambodian way to pick up stuff. U guys see ?? Without truck we can bring lots stuff :D. Bro U have done the great job to show off our country.

Hello Sothy,
A very beautiful daily transportation - picture.
The colour contrast between the motorcycle / furniture and that dusty road is really nice.
Sharp and detailled.
Regards, Paul

Hi Sothy, Amazing scene! Imagine taking that risk, but at the same time being sufficiently concerned about health to wear a face mask. Is that extra suspension I see on the rear wheel? Cheers, Steve

Hello Sothy
Oh! I don't know how this man can manage in transporting all this furniture and in the same time holding his mobile!! Really amazing! A well timed capture!
Cheers

Hi Sothy,
This one is quite striking...to carry such a load is quite a feat!Imagine these cupboards are maybe full as well! Thr light was very strong and the opportunity quite quick so no time to really adjust i suppose, and the road itself came a bit overexposed, but it doesnt matter when you catch such funny sights!
Greetings from Phnom Penh ;D

Hi Sothy,
What can i say?
This photo is amazing
The colours and the POV are great.
Congratulations

Hi!
I almost missed this one! It's really amazing how much furniture he's carrying, but he seems to be used to it. The shot is very good considering the rush, in these cases we never ave much time to think. I'm glad you managed to take it in time because it's really worth to be shown. You framed him very well and the colours are good.

Well done! man.

The composition, POV and sharpness are all perfect!

Tola

A very, veryt good snapshot then, superb subject, good reflexes and great humor! (especially the Cell phone) :D
It reminds me of trucks in Africa that carried twice their height in goods, or of this picture I took in Peru last year ;)

After seeing thousands of this kind of photos everywhere - I still can't understand: How do they do it ???
This is an art in its own league...

These people are the straight descendants of the people who built Angkor Wat and it can't be denied :-)))

Gosh... What a wonderful world of wackos...

love it !
