Eating a bowl of noodles at Udong market
I found this girl staring at me,
not moving, staring.

When I asked her if I could take her picture,
she didn't move nor even blinked her eyes,
she just stood there staring at me,
as if frozen in the midday heat.

After the picture I bought one of her toy birds.
She didn't say a word nor smiled
and left me, awe-struck, to recover from her stares.

I know the picture is a bit overexposed,
but I did want to share it with you.

Hi Benny, A great subject you have here. I would like to see her a little more clearly, perhaps a larger image or a tighter crop, alhtough I cannot see a part of the image that doesn't contribute and could be cropped. well done. cheers, Steve

yes you are right,this is a little bit overexposed,but this is so beautiful that it was worth a post!It's funny,because you gave this tittle fot this girl,and I gave the same tittle for an indian girl!I like the comosition and the colours!The depth is excellent!Well done!

The stare is mesmerising, very well composed shot. Although the photo is a little bit overexposed, the quality of the composition by far overshadows the technical slip-up.

Hi Benny,
A wonderful little girl! It seems her innocence and unconcern has already gone, what a pity. She seems so serious.
You were right to post this photo, it does not matter if it is over exposed. Moreove, it is only on certain part, mainly her shirt. You could select it and change the light to disminish the over exposition. I am not very good at this, so I will not propose you a ws. But I am sure it could be easily corrected.
