Surrounding Wat Preah Keo (Pagoda of the Emerald Buddha) better known as the Silver Pagoda is an open gallery on which has been painted a mural the epic of the Reamker (as the Ramayana is known in Cambodia). Cut into the north side of the mural is this door. The position and ornate design over it suggests that it was installed to lead to the Napoleon III Pavilion, though it could also be the "N" for King Norodom.
