Photographer's Note

At our stay in Angkor we also visited a village to see, how the people live today. The most important source of income was sugar, made of the blossom of the coconut palm. Proudly they showed us the boiler on the open fire - outside on the dusty sandy floor.
The children did not beg, but we had a lot of
sweets for them also as soap and shampoo, from the hotel. They are so nice and friendly.
Do our children (in Europe or USA) know, what a wonderful life they are living in? No?
Than show those photos of the poor cambodian children with their satisfied smiles when they get soap an shampoo. - Our Children would laugh!
