My tour guild pointed this carving out to me on a wall in Ta Praum (Spelling) "Tomb Raider" ruin in the Angkor Archelogical Park. To me this is a solid proof that dino do coexist with human at one time... at least in the jungle of cambodia. Other animals on the wall are elephant, croc etc and this dino carving is not position in any significant part of the carving.... to me this shows it wasn't an special animal during then.

Angkor carvings are very well documented but I have never seen this one before. The creature looks like a dino and it appears to be standing on a giant sea serpent.
I hope someone can shed some light on this mystery.

Hi Kalvin,

2008-07-17. wow, this is quite interesting, never heard of that...that's a stegosaurus that is...I wonder if those who built the template knew about dinos existence...or whether, as you say, they even coexisted;-)...cheers, arturo

2008-07-23. and the next thing I did was to search the net on some more references about this carving...not much to find rally, still very intriguing provided the whole thing is not a hoax...thank you for posting it...cheers, arturo
