Photographer’s Note
Visit this former capital city of Cambodia, Oudong, with some friends. The picture of orange colored temples you see here are newly built, but this is a view from the top of the mountain.
Here is a little bit info of the mountain and the city:
Oudong (also romanized as Udong and Odongk) was a royal capital of Cambodia from 1618 to 1866, located on top of Phnom Udong, about 40 km northwest of Phnom Penh. In 1866, it was abandoned by King Norodom, taking his royal court along with him to the current capital, Phnom Penh.
It was extensively bombed by the American forces during the Vietnam War and damaged by the Khmer Rouge in 1977.[1]

Hi Sothy!
An interesting note and a great shot.
The photo has a great depth and the re/orange roofs contrast so well with the bright green of the rich vegetation.Good for your POV to have this mountain.

Bonjour Sothy
j'aime beaucoup la qualité de la photo qui permet d'apprécier les détails de cette architecture. Ses couleurs ressortent bien au milieu de la verdure.

Hi Sothy!
Perfect pov for sure! You give a perfect view of the area and I like the colours a lot, especially the orange buildings among the vegetation - what a contrast! Are there still any remains of the old city?

hello Sothy
This view looks familiar to me ;) there were not a single tourist when I was there and was quite a bit surprised because this place is very special...although it has been the last KR bastion, I found it very peaceful. The roofs caught my attention and made for a good contrast with the vegetation.
Cheers

Hello Sothy
A beautiful shot of these modern temples which appear to sprout from luxuriant vegetation. Your note explains the reasons for this modernity in this historic Cambodian capital.
The framing is particularly successful.
Regards.
Pierre.
