These young girls seem to elaborate a delicate choreography, twirling their stick in the air for an ultimate amusement.

Hello André,
Children find a way to enjoy life whatever their living conditions. Also we can learn from this picture that whatever their living conditions, people try to keep their homes and themselves clean and tidy. Nice pastel colours of these children's clothes and interesting movements they're performing.

Hello Andre,
Space is definitely at a minimum here, but these girls seem to take advantage of any space they can. It almost looks as if they are conjuring up a spell with their sticks and the clouds are the magic coming out. I know that you were probably on a moving boat and that it was difficult to capture this scene quickly, but I am not so sure about that distracting bunch of branches in the foreground. A cute capture.

Hello André,

Ce que j'aime ici, c'est l'aspect prise de vue sur le vif. (Un peu comme celle de Jean-Yves mais par pour le même sujet..)
Ces deux jeunes filles semblent être en équilibre sur le toit de ce bateau. J'aime également la douceur des couleurs pastels des sujets et du ciel.
Par contre je suis moins fan du cadrage.

Interesting capture of the girls. It tells something on their situation that they are playing on the roof of the boat. Either they are very advanturous or there is no space to do this kind of play elsewhere on the ground.

Bonjour, André. Belle évocation des plaisirs simples. Les deux gamines se détachent bien dur le ciel et on perçoit bien le mouvement qu'elles veulent donner à leurs baguettes. Beau contraste de couleurs entre les vêtements. Je ne suis pas sûr que les branches de l'avant-plan apportent beaucoup à la composition.

Je vois que nous étions au Cambodge au même moment, mais nous, nous ne sommes jamais allés à Siem Reap ;)
tu as eu l'œil en repérant ces 2 petites 'majorettes' perchées sur le toit de leur maison flottante.
Une image bien sympathique...

Hi Andre,
This is an image evoke an emotion in me. I have simular childwood memories, I made toys our of anything we can find in nature or around the house. A wooden stick is a wonderful sword I must say. Great shot with great clarity and sharpness even from afar, I like the fact that these girls are up on the roof and the sky is the background which really show them well without much distracting background. Love it.
