Photographer’s Note
Walking around Phnom Penh central market I came across this 'cyclo' with a surprising eight cute smiling passengers (one is hidden behind the standing girl with a yellow dress. I had almost no time, but I still managed to get this picture which I always hesitated to post because it lacks sharpness... This cyclo disappeared in an instant and I had no time to focus 100%. The scene and subject was good, the light was optimal, only the the photographer was not at its best ;-)

Salut Laurent,

The are a joly bunch of kids, Laurent and it is a nice typical Asian shot. I have often wonderef how many school kids that you can get into a tuk tuk. The more you can pack in the cheaper the fare for each kid.

Salut Laurent,
I guess this one is both a satisfaction and a frustration for you. :-)
Satisfaction because you captured a much vivid, joyful street scene, with a touch of humour and very nicely framed. Frustration for being a bit blurred. But don't worry too much, that's the only flaw and it doesn't take away its charm.
Amicalement, José.

Hi Laurent!
Anyway you captured very well all these great smiles. Good idea to take the photo, even if in a hurry. The lack of sharpness is not that big and the composition is really good, the kind of scenes we can only capture on the right moment, without much time to think.
Well done!

Hi, Laurent! Yes, there's a lack of sharpness here, but lots of joy and happiness in the smiles you've captured so well! It's incredible the number of people on top of this small vehicule! A very nice and interesting pic, my friend! Merci! Salut! Miguel.

OLá Laurent, I'm glad you decided to post this decisive moment, in spite of the lack of sharpness. It's a very enjoyable group and I take pleasure observing each and any one of those faces, including the extra one in the back, on the motorcycle, with his mouth opened ;-)

Bonsoir, mon ami Laurent,
Tu as trouvé le nouveau monospace à ciel ouvert !

Hi Laurent,
Never easy to get the sudden street shots, the opportunities appears almost out of the blue that more often than not I have to rue the lost opportunity. You have atleast managed to pull off this collage of happy faces, they sure are having a fun ride. I can catch the yellowish glimpse of the Central market. Nice place for street photography though its not my forte.

OK, Laurent, it lacks sharpness. So what? It is still a great picture that makes me smile too and share the lightness of life with those cambodian kids. Your shot reminds me of a german song for kids: Hab mein Waden voll geladen, voll mit jungen Maedchen, als wir in die Stadt reinkamen fingen sie an zu singen ... seitdem lade ich mein Wagen mit jungen Maedchen ...
I packed my car with young ladies and as soon as we came into the city they started singing ... since than I load my car with young ladies ...
Cheers, Peter
