Sometimes we need
to set free our minds
we have to react
defending against our daily routine
we need more freedom
so we can close our eyes
and sail away
with our thoughts
for a while...

You can have a look here for more informations about Boeng Yeak Lom lake, the place where I took this image in north eastern Cambodia.

Sail Away - David Gray

Sail away with me honey
I put my heart in your hands
Sail away with me honey now, now, now
Sail away with me
What will be will be
I wanna hold you now, now, now.

Crazy skies all wild above me now
Winter howling at my face
And everything I held so dear
Disappeared without a trace
Oh all the times I've tasted love
Never knew quite what I had
Little Darling if you hear me now
Never needed you so bad
Spinning round inside my head...

Hi Luca.
Waouhhh simple....but perfect !
The position of the man in the frame, the pov, all the blue, the reflect of the sky....an excellent result.
Well done
Fred

Oh...Rotanah Kiri, when I was there in rained and rained and rained, I did swim in the lake, (was already wet:) but unfortunately did not see the full beauty of the lake as portrayed here, Luca. The light and textures of the vast water make this very meditational.

hi Luca
this is a very inspirating picture for the pov, colors are incredible i love it
cheers
greg

Hi Luca
great atmosphere you've achieved here. the water is great with the diffused reflections and you framed this well with good symmetry as the person is positioned in middle. well seen n taken.

CheukHin

Superb blue water, excellent compo and POV. Very nice.

TFS,

Andreea

I like this photo! It looks like a scene from a sci-fi movie. The guy is a cloned human being to be used as an organ donor. You can't see but his face lacks emotion and any kind of expression. The pool is used as the womb, where the clones are "hatched". Scary! ))))

Ciao Luca! Amazing photo, and I can only imagine that this place invites for some further thinking. I could spend some time and just watch, these waters are wonderful and have a lovely play on its own. Excellent photo, Luca, you invite me for a little meditation. Wonderful. Barbara.

I am back ... hopefully tomorrow ...

Luca: would've never thought to see shades of azure like this in Cambodian lakes. Great composition and exhaustive note. regards, c

To be sinking down and down into this all-embracing azure blue, this is hypnotic, Luca; the little waves, the woman's thigh under the tiny blue ripples, the composition with the central figure in the front are very well caught. I love this one, this gentle, beutiful blue in which I feel I get lost...
very nice again, Luca.
Ciao!

Luca!
Ho guardato il link della tua nota: che posticino...
Bellissimo il taglio di questa immagine e bellissima la dominante blu.
Ti auguro una splendida dimenica.
A presto...
Paolo

This image is really speaks to me, luka, the idea to use colors and textures to describe emotions, tests, moods always have been very tempting and somehow evident for me. I may think of this image next time i feel like “sail away” GREAT!

You have some amazing color work in your gallery Luca. The one before this one is very dramatic, but I prefer this one for its human element and the more contemplative feel of it. The colors are also less in my face but still beautiful. Very subtle shot.

Incredible overall color cast.. something I'd expect more from Finland in the late afternoon than south eastern Asia. Anyway a very relaxing image that would have its place hanging in the reception hall of any spa of the world.

Un travail très original, et d'une grande beauté ! bien vu !

A+

Hello Luca,

Blue tones are so beautiful and excellent.
TFS,
Have a nice day.
